UMF Honey Association – Online Giveaway Terms and Conditions

1. Entry into the giveaway is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions of entry.
2. The giveaway is open to individuals aged 18 years or over, unless otherwise stated. Employees of the UMF Honey Association (“the Promoter”) and any agencies involved with this promotion, and the immediate families of such employees, are not eligible to enter.
3. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand and any disputes arising out of this giveaway shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Zealand.
4. The giveaway commences at [start date] and closes at [end date] (“Promotional Period”). Entries received outside of this period will not be accepted.
5. To enter, participants must complete the entry form on www.umf.org.nz
6. Incomplete, duplicated, or fraudulent entries will be deemed invalid.
7. This is a one-off giveaway and there will be 10 winner(s) drawn under the supervision of the Promoter.
8. Winners will be contacted via [email / direct message / phone call] within 7 business days of the draw. If a winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, the Promoter reserves the right to redraw the prize.
9. The prize consists of a UMF™ certified Mānuka Honey gift pack valued at NZD $150. The
prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.
10. In the event that the prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, an alternative prize of equal or greater value will be substituted.
11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost, misdirected, or corrupted entries or communications, including those due to technical difficulties or internet issues.
12. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who provides false or misleading information or otherwise breaches these terms.
13. By entering, participants consent to the UMF Honey Association using their name, social media handle, likeness, and/or image for promotional purposes without further compensation, unless prohibited by law in their country of residence.
14. The prize will be delivered to the winner at a valid postal address provided. International delivery times and restrictions may apply.
15. Entrants agree to comply with all reasonable directions of the Promoter and not to do anything that may bring the UMF Honey Association into disrepute.
16. The Promoter’s decisions on all matters relating to the giveaway are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time without prior notice.
18. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the UMF Honey Association and its officers, employees, and agents exclude all liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising in connection with this giveaway or any prize awarded.
19. Personal information provided by entrants will be used by the Promoter for the purposes of conducting this giveaway and may be used to communicate future promotions. Entrants may opt out at any time. All personal information will be handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 2020 (New Zealand) and applicable international privacy laws.
